President's Message
I can’t believe it has been 11 months since we began this amazing year with our amazing  Rotary Club.  We have accomplished so much yet we have much left to do. We placed flags and wreaths at the National Cemetery and refurbished Hope Garden at the VA Hospital. Operation Turkey was again an awesome success.  We had so many amazing speakers. I cannot thank the Board of Directors enough for their help and support for the awesome year we had. Most importantly, I cannot thank you, our members, for your help and support for growing our club and participating in our club projects. To Matt Berg and the incoming board, I wish you all the success in the world and look forward to another successful year.

Thank you to our June 27 speaker, Dr. Shelly Lesikar deZevallos, President of West Houston Airport.  From sweeping hangars at eight years old to being an active pilot with over 5,000 hours of flight time, Shelly’s gave us some interesting insight into the world of small airports.

The Second Annual Field of Honor will be hosted by The Rotary Club of Greater Houston Veterans to honor veterans during the month of November.  The annual event begins on November 4 and run through November 12.  Each flag flown honors or is in memory of a named veteran.
